Top Curly Hair Styles and Looks for Fall 2018

FALL IS HERE
I am so excited. Hands down - my favorite time of year.
Football, early sunsets, changing leaves, warm drinks, cool mornings, sweaters, and of course - perfect {messy} curly hair styles
I feel like fall is the time of year where styling gets fun because weather isn't a factor you are constantly fighting. With cooler weather come more accessories, like headbands and hats... plus you're not forced to choose between heat stroke and putting your hair up.
Not to mention those neutral to warm tones that are so flattering for nearly all complexions and hair colors and brighten up the coldest fall mornings.
So without further ado... here are my favorite looks for fall hair styles!
MY FAVORITE CURLY LOOKS 2018
for a trendy and cozy fall style
1. Messy Buns
sweaters are the best - and so are messy buns.
A great second day look - this bun is simple and great for the 2A-3A curl types. The messier - the better.
I love to pull a few face-framing pieces out for the extra chill look. Also great for a random 80 degree September day when you can't take the heat anymore.
But there's just something about a sweater and messy bun that is just so...right.
2. NO Product, Just A Wash-n-Go
This is Vanessa Hudgens killin it with a product free look. Embrace the wild side!
So what if it looks a little messy, that's okay! In fact Vanessa just shows us that having perfectly defined hair
isn't necessary to look absolutely amazing. Don't believe me? Google search "high fashion frizzy hair"
People love that volume! Big, thick, voluminous hair is coveted!
So commit and let the frizz run wild!
3. High Definition Curls
These are the rockstar, frizz free, perfect hair days where you want ZERO fly-aways and a head full of pure curls.
The key to this style is NO touching after you wash and apply styling cream in your hair natural sections when wet.

4. Exaggerated Side Part with Elongated Curls

Make it even bolder by faking an undercut/side cut for an edgier look!
5. SCARVES
I love scarves. I will admit - I rarely wear them in my hair. But with all these old fads coming back (pin up styles are a favorite of mine) there's a pretty good chance you will catch me with one of these on Sunday morning going grocery shopping... It's so timeless and endearing. (Quick too!)

And last but not least....
6. Hats!!
I think it is so awesome that people are finding more attractive ways to wear hats with curly hair, aside from just plopping it on and having wild poofs on the side of your head. My favorite way to wear a hat is with a french rolled side braid and then pinning a loose knitted beret - No poofs and less hair on the neck.
